The Spring-Summer 2025 collection by Anna Seravalli gets its inspiration from Venice, its native land, and from Araki Nobuyoshi’s unique aesthetic, who is also inspired by Venice, iconic city of artistic beauty and continuous experimentation. As a matter of fact, Araki attended the Biennale of Venice, affirming the strong bond between his art and the unique atmosphere of Venice. The lagoon city, with its intricate maze of canals, historic buildings and its iridescent light, offers a perfect setting for art and fashion. It is in this context that Anna Seravalli’s SS25 Collection fits, celebrating not only beauty and art, but also the cultural heritage and the innovation that characterize Venice, capturing the essence of the vibrant and sensual world of Araki. Four colour groups outline the soul of the collection: Topaz, Sangria, Jade and Periwinkle, all of which are matched with the nude tones of rope, white and blue. These colour combinations come together harmoniously with the selected fabrics for this season, that are a reference to the tradition with poplin and viscose, and to the innovation with embroidered poplin, creating a perfect match with durability and comfort of both of the new introduced fabrics: polyester viscose and cotton satin. The comeback of the detailed fleece sweaters adds a touch of contemporary comfort, while linen, indigo and plissé infuse a naturalness and freshness sensation. Macramé lace, with its elaborate beauty, completes the textile range providing timeless elegance. The prints developed for this collection, “Explosion” and “Sterlizia”, are a tribute to the renowned pictures of the existing floral nature that lives and shows through Araki’s views. Each print captures the vibrant luxury of seeing, a visual experience that Araki himself describes as a total fusion between the gaze and the lens, between the escape of time and the steadiness of the image.
